Welcome to the website of Canotila Explorers. We are based in Chesterfield and meet on Tuesday evenings, along with a wide range of weekend activities too.
Explorers is a section of scouting for ages 14 to 18, enabling young people to build life long friendships, develop new skills and participate in a range of adventurous activities. Recent activities the unit have undertaken include, climbing, abseiling, gliding, hiking, mountain biking, survival skills, zorbing, camping and expeditions. Golden Duck Champions 2012
Congratulations to the Canotila Explorers, who have won Chesterfield District Explorers annual Golden Duck Awards. A great evening was had by all, and there were some great presentations by all the Chesterfield explorer units. Canotila’s video can be seen on the video page, so you can find out some of the things the unit has been up to over the past year.
